FALL 2024 / 标志 / 标志 102Sign Language
标志 102 - American Sign Language II (3 credits)
Prerequisite: 标志 101. The second American Sign Language course in the sequence designed to further develop communication skills by examining grammatical features of American Sign Language. Students will develop vocabulary 和 conversational skills by progressing from common, concrete communicative events 和 interactions to language usage expressing abstract ideas. Emphasis is on the comprehension 和 production of increasingly complex linguistic structure focusing on dialogues 和 conversational expressions. Cultural awareness 和 appropriateness will also be further examined 和 applied. American Sign Language is the language of instruction.
